The certification in Mainland China is an independent process from the conferral of academic qualification in Hong Kong by the University. Supervison

Working with your Supervisor(s)
As a doctoral student, you will be assigned a Principal Supervisor, and Associate Supervisor(s) by the Specialized Area Coordinator. Your supervisor(s) will provide quality supervision, mentoring, guidance and advice throughout your programme starting from Semester 1 of Year 2 Study. They will also endeavour to make you aware of all regulations, policies and codes of practice relevant to you.
Building Professional Relationships between Research Students and Supervisors
All parties (student and supervisor(s)) must have full knowledge of the institutional requirements of supervisors and doctoral students from the onset, and the first responsibility is to discuss and negotiate how these criteria will be accomplished.
For the Supervision’s details, ALL EdD students are responsible to aware of all guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures that relevant to you.
