12 Nov 2025 - Important Changes to the Google Workspace for Education Terms of Service


Google has recently implemented an inactive account policy within the Google Workspace for Education Terms of Service. Accounts, i.e. your @s.eduhk.hk and/or @friends.eduhk.hk accounts, that have not been accessed or logged into within a two-year period will be deleted, and all associated data will be removed. Deleted accounts and associated data cannot be restored.

SPSS 30 and Amos 30 is now available for staff and students. To ensure uninterrupted access, users currently on SPSS or Amos version 29 or earlier should upgrade to version 30 by 31 July 2025. The new installer and installation guide can be found here.

With immediate effect, each user is limited to two booking sessions of one hour each per day. This change is designed to maximise availability and allow more members of our community the opportunity to benefit from the facility.
