In Outlook, there is a function called Include my name with remarks in a message which will make some text next to the remark of a message. The default text is your name. When you try to forward or reply a message and try to modify some of the original content, your name (or the text set by you as the comment) will appear in the forwarded or replied message. If you do not want that happen, you may disable it by following the steps:

Procedures:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click the Preferences tab, and then click E-Mail Options.
  3. In the When forwarding a message box, click the option you want.

Note: This Mark my comments with check box is available if user is NOT using word as e-mail editor. That means if user has selected the Use MS Word as the e-mail editor, the check box will be automatically dimmed. It is because Word will use revision marks to mark the user's annotations. In that case, your name (or the text set by you as the comment) will not be included in the forwarded or replied message.
