To monitor the use of the Intranet about message posting, two arbitration groups were formed - one on student e-com governance (membership: SAO, CO and student representative) and one on staff e-com governance (membership: CO and HRO). In case of misuse, such as multiple posting of the same messages/messages with similar content:

  1. Misuse by staff, complaints should be sent to CO
  2. Misuse by students, complaints should be sent to SAO.

Upon receiving a complaint about an Intranet message which might violate the defined terms and conditions, the relevant arbitration group will arbitrate and decide the appropriate action to be taken. When needed, OCIO will help suspend repeated offender from posting to Intranet for a period of time.
