Highlight on some new loan items

( 1 ) Wireless Microphone System This is an ultra-compact and user-friendly wireless microphone system. It employs Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission, ensuring crystal-clear recording with a range of over 100 meters. High-quality microphones are integrated into both the transmitter and receiver. Intelligent GainAssist technology autonomously manages audio levels for pristine sound in any application. It seamlessly interfaces with cameras, computers, iPhones, or Android smartphones. The in-built rechargeable lithium-ion battery offers up to 7 hours of usage. It is compatible with Rode's video and audio apps, including Capture, Connect, and Reporter.

( 2 ) Cordless Presenter This cordless presenter functions as well as a laser pointer to facilitate PowerPoint presentation. When presenting slides from PowerPoint, it allows you to move easily from slide to slide by pressing the up / down buttons on the device. It does not require driver when running in Windows XP, and just takes a few seconds to install and use. It works on any PC with a USB port. A timer is also build in for time keeping .

( 3 ) Simultaneous Interpretation (SI) Kit OCIO has acquired portable simultaneous interpretation (SI) which is ideal for conference which requires SI. The SI kit consists of one or two transmitters and up to 60 receivers. The SI support dual channels so that two SI could be done simultaneously. The transmit capability is able to cover 50 square meters and suits for most teaching venues of the University. The equipment is an approved radio frequency equipment endorsed by the Office of Telecommunications Authority (OFTA).
