FAQ: How can I download a file in Google Drive or Photos to a local disk?
 

Google Drive

  1. Go to Google Drive at https://drive.google.com/.
  2. Select "My Drive" on the left-hand column to view all the files and folders.

  3. Select the files or folders and right-click to choose "Download".

  4. When download completes, choose a file location and click "Save".


Google Photos

  1. Go to Google Photos at http://photos.google.com/.
     
  2. Select "Photos" on the left-hand column and select the photos.
  3. Click the More button in the top right-hand corner.

     
  4. Select "Download".

     

  5. Choose a file location and click "Save".
