Using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device as a security token is the most convenient way to complete verification. When there is no Internet connection, users can still use the verification code option on the app. Users are suggested to test this option on their mobile devices if they know they will be travelling.

1. When you sign in to your account, click "Sign in another way" in the Approve sign in request prompt.
   


2. Choose "Use a verification code from my mobile app".
   


3. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app to retrieve the verification code. Then enter the 6-digit code and click "Verify".
