The initial password for Google account is the first 6 digits of your EdUHK student number plus the last 4 digits of your HKID number (including the check digit) or the last 4 digits of your Chinese Mainland ID number (中國內地身分証號碼) (for Chinese Mainland students) / passport number (for overseas students).

* ID No. refers to HKID or Chinese Mainland ID or Passport.

For example, if the student number is 09123459:

• HKID holders:　　　 If the HKID number is A123456(A), the initial password is 091234456a;
• Chinese Mainland students:　If the Chinese Mainland ID is 220890199008075678, the initial password is 0912345678.
• Overseas students:　If the passport number is ABC12345678, the initial password is 0912345678;
