FAQ: I got an error after I have sent an email to a large group of recipients. Why?

Please note that the maximum number of recipients for a single email is 400. If you got a return email like the following one, it means that the maximum no. of recipients per mail is exceeded. In such case, all recipients will NOT receive the email.

Error:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: Meeting Schedule
Sent: 2010-03-23 9:46

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

The e-mail system limits the number of recipients that can be addressed in a single message. Send the message multiple times to fewer recipients. < es51.email.ied.edu.hk #5.5.3 >
