FAQ: How to check the version of virus signature and Scan engine?

Users can check the version of virus signature and Scan engine with the following steps.

For VirusScan Enterprise v.8.8.0 or later

  • Right-click your mouse on top of the icon in your system tray The image illustrate how to check the version of virus signature and Scan engine .
  • Choose About VirusScan Enterprise... from the popup menu and the About VirusScan Enterprise dialog box will be shown as follows:
  • It shows that the virus signature definitions (DAT version) is 8181, the creation date was 30 May 2016 and the version of scan engine was 5800.7501
