Acrobat lets you save Adobe PDF Files to other formats, so that you can save time by repurposing their contents. To repurpose the text in an Adobe PDF document, you can use Acrobat to save the document to Rich Text Format (RTF) and then import the RTF file into your favorite word-processing application, such as Microsoft Word. In additions, Acrobat also lets you save individual pages of Adobe PDF documents to image formats, such as JPEG, PNG, or TIFF.

To convert TEXT :

  • Click File > Save As from the menu bar.
  • Enter a filename, specify a location for the new file, and choose the file type Rich Text Format (*.rtf) from the Save as Type pop-up menu to save the file in a format other than Adobe PDF. Then click Save.

To convert IMAGE:

  • click File > Export > Extract Image As from the menu bar.
  • Choose the file format you need (JPEG files, PNG files, TIFF files).
