Five EdUHK Students Receive The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships

Four local and one mainland students at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) received The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Scholarships this year at a presentation ceremony cum graduation celebration dinner. The event was attended by President Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung and Acting Director of Student Affairs Ms Angie Yeon Yuk-mei on 4 July 2019.

HKJC Scholarships are awarded to students in recognition of their outstanding academic performance and commitment to serving the community. Each of the nine participating institutions awards four scholarships to local students (including one student with special educational needs) and one to a mainland student.

The student awardees are encouraged to continue their community service through the Jockey Club Scholars Alumni Association to channel their time and resources to benefit society.
