The Student Affairs Office (SAO) provides support services to International, Mainland and Taiwan students throughout their course of studies at the University. A wide range of services and activities including orientation programme, cultural activities, festival gatherings, and personal guidance are offered to help students gain a better understanding of the Hong Kong community, adjust to study and campus life, foster mutual support, as well as facilitate cultural exchange among all students.

Latest news about COVID-19

Currently the Hong Kong government imposes restrictions on inbound travellers from various countries and they are subjected to compulsory quarantine measure.

Due to capacity constraints, the University cannot handle any requests for on-campus accommodation for the purpose of the 14-day compulsory quarantine. Students shall need to find accommodations for the quarantine by themselves.

Class Arrangement under COVID-19

Due to the latest development of the COVID-19 in Hong Kong, the University will adopt the following measures

  • All programmes will practice online mode of learning and teaching during Semester 1 2020/21 .*
  • Programme registration will be performed through online. New students are NOT required to undergo programme registration in person.
  • Non-local students who are now not yet in Hong Kong are strongly recommended not to come to Hong Kong for classes held from August – December 2020.

*Arrangement is subject to change depending on the situation and pandemic development.
