Recruitment of Men’s & Women’s Rowing Team Coach (Free-lance)

I. Introduction

This position is for Men’s & Women’s Rowing Team Coach (Part-time), reporting to the Sports Development Section of the Student Affairs Office (SAO).

II. Recruitment Details

The coach is required to:

1. Coordinate, design, and implement training programmes for the Men’s & Women’s Rowing Team at EdUHK.
2. Effectively integrate scientific and other athlete support services into training programmes to enhance overall training outcomes.
3. Assist with and coordinate administrative and logistical arrangements, and mentor student-athletes to develop leadership skills.
4. Accompany the teams to competitions and provide coaching support.

III. Eligibility

Applicants should:

1. Hold a valid, related and recognised coaching qualification, or be a qualified local school PE teacher with relevant coaching experience.
2. Have professional coaching experience in the relevant sport, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Be responsible and reliable to manage the Team’s performance.
