Funding Resources Garnered for New Phase of Special Education Needs Project

With its great impact and outcome in the past three years (2016-2019), the Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education at The Education University of Hong Kong will continue to run the project titled, “Supporting Unit for Special Education Needs Phase 2” (SuSEN 2.0), with the generous support of the Swire Group Charitable Trust from 2020 to 2021.

Joined by Swire Trust members, AADO team, SuSEN project team, and six new collaborating partners from various non-government organisations and social enterprises, SuSEN 2.0 was kicked off with a team meeting on 11 June 2020 at the Tseung Kwan O Study Centre.

Through SuSEN 2.0, the project team aims to provide advice and support for the missions of the six collaborating partners. As for future development, the new partners will provide a wide range of services and resources to people with special needs and to other stakeholders in the community.
