Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs Graduation Ceremony

You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover the first graduation ceremony (2022-23) of The Education University of Hong Kong’s (EdUHK) Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs (‘the Academy’), which will be held on Friday (7 July).

 

Supported by the Education Bureau (EDB) and the Hong Kong Special Schools Council, with a donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Charities Trust, the Academy was established in 2020 by the Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education (CSENIE) at EdUHK. The Academy provides SEN school leavers with continuing education opportunities, allowing them to learn various life skills in preparation for joining the workforce.

 

Attending the ceremony will be Ms Imelda Chan, Head of Charities (Healthy Community) of HKJC; Ms Ho Mo-ki, Principal Assistant Secretary (Special Education) of the EDB; Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, President of EdUHK; Professor Kenneth Sin Kuen-fung, Director of CSENIE and the Academy; and Dr George Leung Wing-hung, Chairman of the Hong Kong Special Schools Council. Students of the Academy will also share their experiences during the ceremony.
