Student Hall Tutors (“hall tutors”) are full-time undergraduate (Ug) or postgraduate (Pg) students (during service term) who assist Warden and Senior Tutor in development of hall life education through provision of pastoral guidance to residents, keeping of disciplines in student hall/quarters and promotion of social responsibilities.
There are two rounds of recruitment. To facilitate returning students to attend selection interview, first round recruitment would be scheduled before Teaching Practice/ Field Experience in Semester 2, i.e. mid-March. Second round of recruitment would be completed before mass check-out in early June.
Recruitment of Student Hall Tutors 2022-23 for Student Halls/Quarters (1st Round)
The Student Affairs Office (SAO) is looking for students with genuine interest in hall life and are keen to serve fellow residents. The period of appointment of Student Hall Tutors will be from 5 August 2022 (Friday) to 7 July 2023 (Friday). Selection will be based on the capabilities and relevant experience of applicants.
