  • 协助香港小学生有效地学习英文作为其第二语言;

  • 与学生、家长、同工、学校行政人员及其他专业人士通力合作;及

The BEd(EL) programme has enabled me to realise my dream, which is to become a teacher, and built my confidence to work in the education field. Through the courses I took over the years, I gained exposure to the fields of linguistics and literature, as well as education and pedagogy. Moreover, I was given opportunities to put what I had learnt into practice and participate in a variety of field experience-related activities as I progressed through the programme — for example, sharing sessions given by our alumni and retired principals, attachment programmes hosted by local schools, and most importantly, teaching practicums for us to gain hands-on teaching experience in authentic school settings. The rich experiences offered by the BEd(EL) programme have indeed prepared me well for meeting the future challenges of being a local English teacher.

从混淆英文字母「b」「d」的书写方向,到成为小学教师教授英文科,陈颖钊(Will)在学习路途上走过不少低谷。过程中有赖得到家人及老师的鼓励及支持,让他终能走出困局,在文凭试中考获佳绩入读香港教育大学(下称「教大」)英文教育系。带着不一样的学习经历,毕业后成为一位小学教师的Will对教育有甚么不同的看法,且听他娓娓道来。
