EdUHK Career Fair 2026: Support Students in Exploring Diverse Career Pathways
The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) hosted the EdUHK Career Fair 2026 between 17 and 20 March at its Tai Po Campus. The four-day event, themed ‘Strive to Develop the Future’, brought together over 60 organisations from education, social welfare, cultural and creative industries, administration, technology, and business services, attracting over 1,000 students. The Fair provided a valuable platform for students to engage directly with industry representatives, explore diverse career pathways, and take proactive steps for their future.
This year’s Fair welcomed several first-time exhibitors, including the Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students (ASJ), Aviation Security Company Limited, the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, New World Facilities Management Company Limited, and the Youth of Guangzhou and Hong Kong Association. Together with returning partners, they offered a wide range of job and internship opportunities tailored to students’ academic strengths, and innovative and cross-border career options.
The opening ceremony was officiated by EdUHK Vice President (Research and Development) Professor Chetwyn Chan Che-hin. In his speech, Professor Chan remarked “This year Career Fair fully reflects the qualities of EdUHK students – resilient, future-focused, and ready to embrace challenges”. He further encouraged students to take ownership of their career development with confidence and resilience, and expressed his gratitude to the participating organisations for their support.
In addition to the exhibition booths, the Fair featured networking sessions, guided tours, and on-site interviews, enabling students to gain deeper insights into industry expectations regarding professional qualifications, career progression and workplace competencies. A Greater Bay Area policy talk was also held to highlight opportunities in the Chinese Mainland.
Additional activities included a CV Clinic offering one-on-one CV review service with professional advisors, complimentary make-up and photography services, and workshops on etiquette and recruitment examination strategies. Between February and early March, the University also organised multiple online and offline recruitment talks, helping students make comprehensive preparation for their careers.
EdUHK remains committed to providing holistic career support for students. Alongside the Government Career Fair, the University regularly hosts networking sessions, industry talks, CV workshops, mock interviews, and career consultations, bridging academic learning to professional practice and empowering students to broaden their career horizons.
