Recognitions from SCOLAR and EDB
The MATESOL programme is recognised by The Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) as English language major degree programme; it is also included in the list of “Programmes Accepted for Grants under the Professional Development Incentive Grant Scheme for Language Teachers”. MATESOL graduates will be eligible to apply for full exemption from the Language Proficiency Assessment (English Language) (LPAE), if they have already obtained "relevant teacher training".
