EdUHK's West Kowloon Study Centre (Museum Drive) is officially open!

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) has opened the West Kowloon Study Centre (Museum Drive) – its second study centre at the M+ Building in the West Kowloon Cultural District. It is EdUHK's fourth urban teaching base, along with those in North Point, Tseung Kwan O, and the Xiqu Centre. Spanning over 9,000 sq ft, the new centre features five interactive classrooms, multi-purpose collaboration spaces, and LED walls to support diverse teaching modes.

Dr David Wong Yau-kar noted that the West Kowloon Cultural District injected creative energy into teaching and promoted cross-disciplinary exchange. The Honourable Bernard Charnwut Chan also shared his insights on urban arts and Hong Kong's cultural development. Professor John Lee thanked the District Authority for its support and expressed his hope to nurture a new generation with a global outlook and social responsibility. The event opened with a classical piano performance by Dr Philbert Li King-yue, Lecturer at the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, together with EdUHK students, and closed with a performance by the EdUHK Vocal Jazz Ensemble "Lacov".
