EdUHK’s Symposium on Enhancing Teaching and Learning Effectiveness through SDL and e-Learning cum Featured Case Studies Sharing Session

You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover a symposium titled Enhancing Teaching and Learning Effectiveness through SDL and e-Learning cum Featured Case Studies Sharing Session to be held this Saturday (24 June) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK).

Delivering an opening speech will be Dr Lau Hung-cheong, Senior Education Officer of the Education Bureau. Other keynote speakers include Professor Yeh Ping-cheng from the Department of Electrical Engineering of National Taiwan University and Mr Lu Kuan-wei, CEO of Junyi Academy of Taiwan. The speakers will share their experiences in providing support to the development of Self-Directed Learning and e-Learning in Taiwan. A forum will be hosted by Dr Ko Po-yuk, Director of Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT), for a discussion among the two Taiwanese speakers and local primary and secondary school teachers, as well as an interactive exchange with the event attendees.

 

Case studies of Self-directed Learning and e-Learning will be featured in the afternoon’s parallel sessions. Primary and secondary school teachers from 33 schools will present relevant experiences and outcomes, as well as the effectiveness of their practices with over 300 education professionals from Hong Kong and Macau.
