The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and Shandong University (SDU) co-organised the first New Liberal Arts Online Seminar Series on April 18th under the theme “Digital Intelligence-Driven Educational Reform.” The event brought together over 200 participants, including experts, scholars, faculty and students from both institutions, fostering in-depth discussions on AI and technology-enhanced education.

0Dr Lucas Kohnke, EdD Programme Coordinator and Senior Lecturer from the Department of English Language Education, hosted the workshop AI in Education Innovation on April 23rd. The workshop was delivered by Dr Fridolin Ting Sze Thou from the Office of the Vice President (Research and Development) and the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology (MIT). The online workshop aimed at exploring the multifaceted role of artificial intelligence in reshaping educational practices.
Enthusiastic and curious graduate students participated in two GS-organised drawing workshops on April 3 and 10. The two sessions followed a similar structure, aiming to help participants discover the joy and creativity of drawing. The workshops were facilitated by Ms Passy Deng Yang, a lecturer in the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts.

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, have taken a significant step forward in fostering international academic collaboration with the signing of two agreements. The signing ceremony was held on the morning of 10 April 2025 at EdUHK’s Tai Po campus, marking the beginning of a promising partnership between the two institutions.
