Visit by CMA Delegation

Dr Allen Shi Lop-tak, President of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA), led a delegation to visit The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) on 7 September 2021, to gain a deeper understanding of the University’s vision and its latest developments.

EdUHK Council Chairman Dr David Wong Yau-kar, and President Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, welcomed the delegation and thanked CMA for its past support for nurturing outstanding and caring educators at the University, enhancing teaching resources and facilitating educational research, development and innovation.

The delegation visited the newly completed Future Classrooms which showcase new equipment, such as VR-AR-Media, multiple 4K displays with writable video walls, PTZ cameras and interactive floor for games and activities. The visitors learned how this cutting-edge technology could facilitate teaching and learning.

Other faculty members briefed the visitors on the Animated Chinese History for Curious Minds Project and future plans concerning Chinese culture and national identity. The delegation ended its tour by visiting the CMA Lecture Room as well as the two lecture theatres named after Dr and Mrs Allen Shi, and Dr Ma Kai-yum, respectively.
