At its Congregation today (16 November), The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) conferred honorary doctorates on five distinguished individuals in recognition of their remarkable contributions to their fields in advancing education and social progress. Officiating at the ceremony was Professor Frederick Ma Si-hang, Council Chairman of EdUHK.

EdUHK Showcases Innovative Technologies on Cultural and Creative Arts Education

This is the fourth year The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) has joined InnoCarnival, a flagship event at InnoTech Month, organised by the HKSAR Innovation and Technology Commission. During the nine-day InnoCarnival 2018 run at Hong Kong Science Park, the EdUHK Knowledge Transfer Sub-office set up a booth under the theme “Innovate for Cultural and Creative Arts Education” to showcase projects that use innovation and technologies in music, visual arts and Chinese culture education.

Hong Kong Institute of Speech Therapists Fully Endorses EdUHK’s Master Programme

The Master of Science in Educational Speech-Language Pathology and Learning Disabilities (MScESLPLD) programme offered by The Education University of Hong Kong is now fully endorsed by the Hong Kong Institute of Speech Therapists (HKIST). Full endorsement status is valid until August 2023.

Launch of EdUHK’s “Jockey Club from Words to Culture Programme: an Animated Way to Learn Chinese” Project

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held a ceremony today (3 November) to launch the “Jockey Club from Words to Culture Programme: an Animated Way to Learn Chinese” project. Targeting lower primary students, the project includes multimedia Chinese language teaching materials with animations featuring Hong Kong’s characteristics in line with the Education Bureau’s curriculum guide regarding pleasurable learning.
