EdUHK Strengthens Partnerships with Education Sector Fostering Education Development in Hong Kong

To further deepen its collaboration with the education sector, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) hosted two key partnership events: the ‘EdUHK-Hong Kong School Councils and Principals’ Associations Exchange Session’ and the ‘EdUHK-Hong Kong School Sponsoring Bodies Exchange Session’ on 4 and 9 June 2025, respectively. These events brought together representatives from various partner organisations to explore future collaboration opportunities and jointly promote the sustainable development of education in Hong Kong.

 

The exchange sessions build upon the collaborative agreements signed on 23 November 2024 between EdUHK and various school sponsoring bodies, school councils, and principals’ associations. They mark a significant step forward in deepening and expanding EdUHK’s partnerships within the education community. The sessions were chaired by Dr Kevin Kam Wai-keung, Director of School Partnership and Field Experience at EdUHK. At the exchange sessions, participants shared their past collaborative experiences with EdUHK, provided valuable suggestions on the direction for future cooperation and discussed various topics, including teacher professional development, the application of artificial intelligence in education, teaching practices and other proposals for collaboration.

 

These events help strengthen the ties between EdUHK and its partners, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration. EdUHK looks forward to continuing its close partnership with stakeholders across the education sector to inject innovation and vitality into Hong Kong’s education system and to meet future challenges together.
