Graduate School Successfully Hosts Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration and Sharing Session

Graduate School organized a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration and sharing session on September 25th. The event, hosted by Dr. John Patkin, attracted an impressive turnout of 172 postgraduate students.

The festivities commenced with a warm welcome address from Professor Gu, the Dean of the Graduate School, who introduced the members of the GS team to the RPg, EdD and MEd students. Following the opening remarks, Dr. Lee Kwai Sang, Associate Dean of Graduate School & EdD Programme Director, and Dr. Tsang Yiu Fai Chris, Assistant Dean of GS & MEd Programme Director, took turns sharing delightful anecdotes from their past Mid-Autumn Festival experiences, extending heartfelt festive wishes to the students. Dr. Tsang also highlighted the upcoming MEd overseas learning experience activity, encouraging MEd students to actively participate by registering for the program.

The students also enthusiastically participated in quiz activities and lantern riddles on the Kahoot platform. Many students were awarded exquisite gifts through joining the activities. Six students emerged as winners during the two rounds of the Kahoot competition, earning themselves prizes as champions, first runners-up, and second runners-up. All participants received beautifully crafted mooncakes and refreshing beverages prepared by the Graduate School as they departed, adding a delightful touch to the Mid-Autumn Festival ambiance.
