I would like to supervise students interested in studying Chinese culture in global contexts from the perspective of translation (for example, examining how traditional Chinese cultural practices such as calligraphy, painting, martial arts, and Chinese medicine have been interpreted and disseminated in the English-speaking world); urban textscapes, linguistic and semiotic landscapes (particularly multilingual settings such as postcolonial cities, cosmopolitan cities, and ethnic enclaves like Chinatowns); digital cultural heritage and museums from intercultural perspectives (such as how exhibitions curated abroad are adapted to new cultural contexts through language, digital tools, and other methods); and the intersection between translation theories and AI (for example, how the widespread use of AI tools in translation practices encourages us to rethink contemporary translation theories).
學術研究：
I have published widely over the past 6 years in major journals in translation studies, sociolinguistics and cultural studies, such as Translation Studies, Translation and Interpreting Studies, Babel, Perspectives, Translator, Critical Arts, International Journal of Multilingualism, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Language and Intercultural Communication, China Perspectives, Interventions, Asia Pacific Translation and Intercultural Studies, Translation Quarterly, Foreign Languages and Translation Horizons.
I am the first name editor of the volume Multilingual Education Yearbook 2025. I am an Editorial Board Member (Associate Editor) of the journal Humanities & Social Sciences Communications (SSCI, A&HCI), and also a board member of the journal The International Journal of Chinese and English Translation & Interpreting.
