My research focuses on the intersection of text, space, and digital art/art games. I am currently working on a book about the uses of Chinese characters and other written languages in new media art. In addition to my academic role, I am a media artist, translator, and writer. My creative works frequently explore the relationships between materiality, writing, and history. My projects have been showcased at international festivals, including IFVA Hong Kong, Cinetribe Osaka, ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Berlin, and the Shanghai Biennale.
