Being a BEd(HIST) student is not only about gaining knowledge of a wide range of history topics, but also about being provided with opportunities to learn how to become an effective educator. Through sharing with professors and classmates, I have been able to develop key skills in the discipline of history such as forming rational arguments and expressing my own opinions through critical thinking. I believe the BEd(HIST) programme is playing a vital role in helping pave the way to reach my future goal of becoming a secondary school history teacher.
