I like applying research in teaching and using teaching activities for research. Prior to joining The Education University of Hong Kong, I was an Instructor at the English Language Centre, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2015-2017). I also taught at City University of Hong Kong (2012-2014).
I am a prolific researcher with 140 publications (58 SSCI and 27 Scopus indexed journal articles). Stanford University has listed me as one of the World’s Top 2% most cited Scientists in Education in 2021 and 2022. I am also an Editor of Computers & Education (SSCI IF=11.182, Rank 3 out of 1369 journals in Education). I have won several international awards, including three Gold Medals, three Special Awards, and one Silver Medal in international innovation competitions, one Best Paper presentation Award, one Excellent Paper Award, and one Outstanding Research Achievement Award.
