Creaturely Stories: Interspecies and Eco-caring Media Camp

Join the “Creaturely Stories: Interspecies and Eco-caring Media Camp” in September 2025!

Get ready for an exciting, hands-on journey into the world of “More-than-Human” connections! This event offers university students and members of the public a unique experience to build interspecies friendships and better understand our shared world through a series of carefully curated event, such as keynote talks, interactive workshops, guided eco-tours, and media analysis training. Together, we will co-create a visual encyclopedia of interspecies friendship, which will be published online.

*This event is part of the "Sustainable Humanities" (SUSHUM) Project under the International Research Centre for Cultural Studies (IRCCS), and Faculty of Humanities (FHM), the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). 

Event Details:

• Date: 6-7 Sept 2025 (Sat-Sun)
• Time: Two-full-day event, with a public screening session on the night of 6 Sept 2025.
• Venue: Green Hub (Tai Po, for activities) & Eaton Kino Cinema (Jordan, for screening)
• Language: Mainly in English, with 1 session probably conducted in Cantonese (onsite translation is provided if needed)
• Limited quota: 25 Participants
