I joined EdUHK in August 2024 and am excited about my new life here. I have previously worked as an academic staff member at Hong Kong Baptist University, The University of Sydney, and The Ohio State University. My post-graduate training focused on Chinese and comparative literature and was informed by a rigorous, philological approach to Sinology. Primary sources remain the foundation of my exploration, and I prefer to read through multiple perspectives and employ a transdisciplinary approach. In addition to academic research, I am also interested in creative writing, especially poetry in classical Chinese and prose in modern Chinese.
