Join the “Hong Kong 2025 Humanities Conference on The Dialectics of Care,” scheduled for August 7-8, 2025 at the Education University of Hong Kong. This conference, part of the "Comparative Cultures of Care" initiative at the EdUHK, aims to advance the robust theorization of care's contradictions during the "Hong Kong 2023 Humanities Conference on Comparative Cultures of Care." By fostering critical dialogue, we seek to explore the nuanced dimensions of care and its implications in our contemporary world. A distinguished group of speakers from the US, UK, Germany, New Zealand, and Hong Kong will present drafts of their original papers, engaging in robust discussions with each other and the audience.

The Conference is anchored on three main themes:
•    Care Aesthetics (How does Art approach Vulnerabilities?)

•    Care Education (What is a Pedagogy of Care?)
