UNESCO Chair

The UNESCO Chair at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is a key participant in the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme, which supports partnerships with universities worldwide to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 

Since its initial award in 2011, the Chair has been renewed for the 2023-2027 term, with Professor John Lee Chi-Kin continuing his leadership in Regional Education Development and Lifelong Learning. Professor Lee is a distinguished educator, renowned for his research in curriculum, geographical and environmental education, and teacher development. He ranks among the top 2% most-cited scientists in education globally and is pivotal in driving educational and social service projects across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and internationally.
