EdUHK LTTC Roadshow 2025/26 Successfully Concluded
Connecting Academic Innovation and Practice

The Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology (LTTC) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) successfully hosted the LTTC Roadshow 2025/26 at the STEM Innovation Hub on 28 and 29 April 2026. Serving as a vital bridge between academic innovation and practical application, the event provided students with valuable opportunities to explore cutting-edge technologies and engage in cross-disciplinary learning.

This year’s Roadshow adopted an open format, allowing participants to explore freely at their own pace and according to their interests. Students experienced a diverse range of advanced technologies, including quadruped robotic dogs, robotic arms with embodied intelligence, immersive Metaverse learning environments, and generative AI tools. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities, participants deepened their understanding of emerging technologies and gained insights into the integration of education and technological development.

Looking ahead, LTTC will organise over 80 AI-related workshops in the 2026/27 academic year to sustain the momentum generated by the Roadshow and provide extended learning pathways for students eager to continue exploring new technologies. The workshops will be structured around four main thematic areas:

  • Robotics and Embodied Intelligence (REI) Lab
  • Large Language Model (LLM) Studio
  • Interactive Educational Tools
  • Metaverse (Immersive Learning Environments)

The workshops will cover a wide spectrum, ranging from foundational topics such as 3D printing and AI-powered modelling to advanced applications, including the "AI Buddy" Moodle companion and VRCAVE storytelling pedagogy. With a practice-oriented learning approach, LTTC aims to enhance students’ technological competencies, foster self-directed learning, and encourage cross-disciplinary exploration. Through these initiatives, EdUHK seeks to further integrate AI into teaching and learning, reinforcing its leadership in cultivating AI competency among the education profession.
