EdUHK Autumn Career Fair 2026
Connects Students with Government, Corporate and NGO Employers

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) organised the EdUHK Autumn Career Fair 2026  from 18 to 23 September under the theme “Strive to Develop the Future”. The hybrid event drew government departments, corporations and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), offering students and recent graduates opportunities to explore career pathways and prepare for their professional futures. The Fair recorded around 1,500 booth visits and 1,350 attendances at recruitment talks.

The Fair opened with “Government Day” on 18 September at EdUHK’s Central Plaza. In collaboration with the Civil Service Bureau, 18 government departments—including the Education Bureau, the Digital Policy Office and the Customs and Excise Department—introduced more than 40 civil service grades and career opportunities. Mr Cyrus Cheung Ho-chi, Principal Assistant Secretary (Civil Service) Appointments, attended the event to show support. Students gained first-hand insights into civil service careers, recruitment requirements and professional development pathways.

From 21 to 23 September, “Corporate & NGOs Days” were held online, featuring over 50 companies and organisations across diverse sectors. Employers such as Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOCHK), New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (NLPRA), Cordis Hong Kong, Langham Hospitality Group, Eaton HK and JD.com shared information on full-time employment, internships, and graduate-development programmes.

Through recruitment talks, networking sessions and direct exchanges with industry representatives, students learned about workplace culture, industry trends and employers’ expectations, while expanding their professional networks and making wiser, more informed career decisions.

EdUHK will continue to strengthen collaboration with employers, alumni and community partners to create meaningful opportunities that support students’ career readiness. Through career education, industry engagement and experiential learning, EdUHK remains committed to nurturing aspirations, capabilities and confidence for success in an evolving world of work.
