Introduction

Aims and Outcomes	The minor aims to broaden students’ understanding of teaching Chinese to non-native Chinese speakers (either in Cantonese or Putonghua). Students taking this minor will acquire professional competence and knowledge of teaching Chinese as an international language (CIL) in the global and local contexts including local and international schools in Hong Kong. 本副修旨在拓宽学生对以广东话或普通话教授非华语人士中文的认识。通过修读本副修，学生将促进国际汉语教学的专业知识和能力，以胜任於本地及外地等包括国际学校的中文教学工作。
