刘铎博士出任国际期刊副主编

Dr Liu Duo, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Education and Counselling at The Education University of Hong Kong, was appointed Associate Editor by the Journal of Learning Disabilities in July 2017. The journal is rated A* in the area of special education. It is a multidisciplinary, international journal that presents work and comments related to learning disabilities.

Dr Jae Park won the 2017 Outstanding Journal Article Award given by the International Review of Educational Technology Research and Development.

Professor Chiu Ming Ming recently won two massive grants from the US Department of Education.

林碧霞博士获最佳论文奖

Dr Lam Bick-har, Associate Professor of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at The Education University of Hong Kong, won the Best Paper Award at the Redesigning Pedagogy Conference held from 31 May to 2 June. Her paper, written with an external researcher Ms Winkie Li, takes findings from health psychology to help improve social support in education. It highlights how different contexts help or inhibit the beneficial effects of social support, and looks at how students’ social capital can be improved to enhance their learning and well-being. Dr Lam also looked at ways teachers could support students to enhance their own development and well-being.

曾耀辉博士获委任为美国国家科学基金会评审

Dr Tsang Yiu-fai was recently invited to serve on the grant proposal review panel of the Partnerships for Innovation: Building Innovation Capacity programme organised by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the United States.
