何詠基博士獲嘉譽為2019年度最廣獲徵引研究人員

Dr Keith Ho Wing-kei, Associate Professor at the Department of Science and Environmental Studies, The Education University of Hong Kong, was awarded a place in the “Highly Cited Researchers 2019” list released by Clarivate Analytics. The list charts the world’s top researchers who have demonstrated significant and broad influence reflected in their publication of multiple papers, which have been highly cited by fellow academics over the last decade. The honour is given to researchers who published a high number of papers that rank in the top 1% by citations in their respective fields of study and year of publication. This is the second consecutive year in which Dr Ho has been named in the annual list.

The 2019 list includes 6,216 highly cited researchers in various fields from nearly 60 countries and regions, representing 0.1% of all professors and researchers worldwide, including 24 Nobel Laureates, three of whom received the Nobel prize in 2019. More details of the award can be found here.

Dr Ho was also listed in the “Top-100,000-ranked scientists” among the nearly seven million scholars in the world, from a study released by Stanford University in August 2019, according to the information provided by Scopus (covering total citation number, H-index, etc.). Based on publications spanning 23 years (1996-2018), he was listed in the top 1% among the 506,525 scientists in the Chemistry field (one of 176 sub-areas).
