Master of Arts in Artificial Intelligence and Technology in Language Learning [MAATLL]

The MAATLL requires 30 credit points (cps) for completion. Students are required to complete five 3-credit core courses and five 3-credit elective courses. Students may choose to complete the programme with or without a 3-credit Practical Portfolio/Capstone Project. If the capstone option is chosen, it will replace one 3-credit elective course, normally in Semester 2. Five core courses are required: three will normally be offered in Semester 1 and two in Semester 2.

Elective course pool (13 courses/39 cps)

Students are required to complete 15 cps of electives, normally equivalent to five 3-cp elective courses. Students who choose the Practical Portfolio/Capstone option will complete 12 cps of taught elective courses and the 3-cp Practical Portfolio/Capstone Project. Only a selected number of elective courses will be offered in any given semester, subject to staff availability, student demand, and programme planning.
