You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover the Launch Ceremony for the Elite Athlete Friendly University Fund on 31 August (Tuesday) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). The Fund aims to promote the long-term development of local athletes and a friendly environment in support of their pursuit of a dual career.

Officiating at the ceremony will be EdUHK President Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, University Grants Committee Chairman Mr Carlson Tong, and Hong Kong Sports Institute’s Chief Executive Dr Trisha Leahy.

Olympic table tennis bronze medalists Doo Hoi-kem and Lee Ho-ching will receive the new scholarship at the ceremony. Their parents will also share how they support the pair in pursuit of their dreams in the sports arena. Details are as below:

A complimentary coach will pick up media members at MTR University Station (Exit B) at 10:15am.
