Visit by Australian Consul-General

Ms Elizabeth Ward, Australian Consul-General to Hong Kong and Macau, paid her first visit to The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) with Ms Katie O’Rourke, Consul (Political and Economic) on 11 October 2021, to explore collaboration opportunities between the Australian community in Hong Kong and the University.
 

EdUHK President Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung gave a presentation to the visiting delegation on the history and the latest developments at the University, and the guests shared their insights into higher education and other areas. They also met with the directors of Centre for Child and Family Science, Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education, and Integrated Centre for Wellbeing to learn about their work and future plans concerning early childhood education, special needs and inclusive education, children development and support to families.
