Professor Jiang Da is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America. Her research focuses on psychology of aging, particularly affective and cognitive processes that enhance wellbeing in older adults.

 

Professor Jiang has successfully secured multiple competitive grants, such as the Early Career Scheme, the General Research Fund, and the Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme from the Research Grant Council. She has also been honoured with a number of prestigious international academic awards, such as Rising Star from the Association for Psychological Science, the Seisoh Sukemune/Bruce Bain Encouragement Award from the International Council of Psychologists, the Annual Research Award from the Hong Kong Psychogeriatric Association (2024), and the President’s Award for Outstanding Research Performance (Early Career Excellence) from The Education University of Hong Kong.

 

Professor Jiang’s work has been published in top-tier journals, including American Psychologist, The Lancet Healthy Longevity and JAMA Network Open.
