Professor Alfredo Bautista currently serves as Associate Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education, The Education University of Hong Kong. He has conducted educational research in countries and regions around the world, including Argentina, Canada, Singapore, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, as well as mainland China and Hong Kong. Professor Bautista currently leads several research and development projects focusing on early childhood education curriculum, pedagogy, teacher education and professional development. Much of his prior research work focused on music and arts education, creativity, and play. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for the Study of Education and Development and serves as Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member for other peer-reviewed international journals.
