The AIREA 4th AI and Education Forum, organised by the AIREA (Artificial Intelligence Research and Education Alliance) of The Education University of Hong Kong and co-organised by East China Normal University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, will be held on 21 August 2025. The forum will bring together leading scholars and educators to explore the multifaceted impact of AI on education. As AI technologies continue to transform teaching, learning and assessment, this event aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of how AI-driven tools influence educational practices. The forum provides a platform for exchanging innovative ideas, research findings and best practices to advance inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable educational environments in the AI age.

Aims:

• To investigate how AI technologies are reshaping teaching, learning and assessment practices across diverse educational contexts
• To contribute to the development of innovative strategies for integrating AI tools into curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment, fostering digital competence and AI literacy
• To promote interdisciplinary dialogue on the ethical, social, and policy implications of AI applications in education
