EdUHK International Conference on Linguistics
07 Nov 2026 - 08 Nov 2026
16/F, M+ Building, No.38 Museum Drive, West Kowloon Cultural District, Kowloon

The inaugural EdUHK International Conference on Linguistics (EICOL) will be hosted on 7–8 November 2026 at EdUHK’s West Kowloon Study Centre (Museum Drive).
Over two days, with themes exploring the critical intersections of language and technology, keynote speeches, roundtables, and workshops bring together three connected strands: corpus and computational linguistics, language learning and teaching, and multilingualism and mobility. The conference bridges theoretical frameworks and empirical applications in education and multilingual societies, examining how computational tools transform language description, how technology reshapes pedagogy, and how human mobility redraws the social contexts of language use.
EICOL invites researchers, educators, and practitioners to engage in dialogue across these boundaries, addressing the pressing linguistic challenges of a diverse and digital age.
