From 2025/26 onwards, students who have completed the previous 4-cp GE Foundation Course (GEFC) (i.e. GEE1003) can apply for credit transfer for the new 3-cp GEFC (GEE1004), under the following conditions:
1. The GEFC (GEE1003) was completed by the student in the releasing programme before applying for the change to another programme.
2. Students who have successfully completed GEE1003, with final grade D or above, on 2024/25 or before, can submit application after the change of programme application is approved.
3. No final grade would be assigned to the students whose applications for credit transfer are based on their previous attainments in the 4-cp GEFC.
Vetting by GEO will be required for all applications and the final result will be announced by Registry.
