Ms Lo Yin-wai Roxanne, Graduate of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Arts and Culture and Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Visual Arts) 2023/24
Since graduating from EdUHK, I have been teaching Visual Arts at a secondary school for three years. Beyond my regular junior and senior form classes, I am passionate about creating unique art experiences for my students. I founded the school’s face painting and sand art teams, and led students in running their own face painting stalls. Last year, to help senior students prepare for their public examinations, I also co-organised a joint-school VA mock examination with several schools in the Tuen Mun district.
I constantly explore new teaching methods and recently received an award in the ‘Outstanding New Teacher 2025 Micro-Teaching Video Competition’. This experience has reinforced my belief that as young educators, we should boldly experiment and integrate various technologies and materials into our teaching to inspire our students’ artistic potential in innovative ways.
