Josie Cheung Fung Ching, Graduate of Certificate in Professional Development Programme for Interpretation of Classical Chinese Literature for Secondary Teachers of Chinese Language (2018)
10 years ago, I graduated from The Hong Kong Institute of Education and started my career as a teacher. After 10 years, I stepped into The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) again and took a more advanced five-week programme, namely, Certificate in Professional Development Programme for Interpretation of Classical Chinese Literature for Secondary Teachers of Chinese Language. This programme not only enabled me to have a thorough understanding of the content of subject, but also helped me learn how to apply what I learnt to tackle the difficulties that I faced when teaching. Moreover, this programme also provided me invaluable opportunities to share and exchange experiences/ideas among my fellow classmates and allowed us to support and learn from each other and broadened our horizons. Even after graduation, we have become close partners and supporting one another on the path of teaching.
EdUHK, a place that nurtured my dream to become a teacher, enables me to transfer my knowledge to the future generations effectively.
